One of the many Access Control projects that MDU has worked on was Weequahic High School of Newark, New Jersey. MDU Integrators was contracted by ISSI (Integrated Systems and Servives Inc.) of New Jersey to supply and program a Hirsch Electronics Access Control System. Since ISSI (the winning bidder of the security contract) was not a Hirsch dealer, they contracted the services of MDU to supply the material and program the system.
The system consisted of 26 card readers, 4 control panels, 26 Door Contacts, alarm siren integration for the Gym doors, a Hirsch Server and a Hirsch Workstation with photo ID Badging. MDU also provided field support for ISSI’s technicians and provided the system training to the School’s administrators.
The installation was a tremendous success thanks to the competence of ISSI’s technical team and a team effort to finish the job.
